Tamil Nadu: The Chennai High Court has ordered that animals should not be sacrificed in public during the Bakreed festival as the corona is spreading not only in Tamil Nadu but across the country.
In this context, Hohokam, the president of the Madurai Indian Association, had filed a case in the Chennai High Court seeking a ban on the sale of meat for the slaughter of goats, cows and camels on the occasion of Baked.

The petition also alleges that the animals were summoned from several places at the same time and kept without following the rules.
