India: Extreme levels of flood danger were announced in at least 34,713 cubic feet per second from the Karnataka dam into the Cauvery river, as well as 30,000 cubic feet of water from the Kabini dam and 4,713 cubic feet from the KRS dam.
The Cauvery catchment area in the state of Karnataka has been receiving continuous rains, which has led to an increase in the flow of water in the Karnataka dams, hence the opening of the Cauvery River.

Currently, 30,000 cubic feet of water is released from the Kabini Dam and 4,713 cubic feet from the KRS Dam.
