National Debt Poetry Competition

INDIA: On the eve of the country's Independence Day, the Central Government's Center for Cultural Resources has put together a competition for children with a passion for a country.

10 to 14 years old

The Center for Cultural Resources and Training, an autonomous body operating under the Ministry of Culture, is organizing a national patriotic poetry competition on the eve of Independence Day in association with Government Dot In.

The national poetry competition is open to children between the ages of 10 and 14 and the competition organization has asked children to write and send their talents as patriotic poems.

National selection

Children can write and send their poems in any of the regional languages, including English, recognized by the Indian Constitution and its Eighth Schedule.

It is to be noted that a maximum of five short best poems will be selected from each state territory and they will be evaluated by the National Selection Committee.

On the eve of Independence Day, the names of the prize winners will be announced and they will be given cash prizes and certificates.

Boys born between 01-07-2007 to 30-06-2011 are eligible to participate in this competition.

CCRT has been involved in connecting education and culture for over 40 years.

It has so far awarded more than 14,000 scholarships to deserving special boys in the age group of 10 and 11 years.

Similarly, the boys who win the poetry competition which is currently being held will be given a certificate of merit and a cash prize.

1. The first prize is 15 thousand
2. Second prize 7,500 thousand
3. The third prize is Rs.5000

A consolation prize of Rs. 2000 is to be given to each State Union Territory in India.
