Congress will sign 2 crore farmers against agrarian bills and announce a nationwide movement
India: The Congress party has announced a 50-day nationwide protest against the Modi government over the issue of agricultural bills passed by Parliament.
Against these bills, the Congress party said that two crore farmers from across the country would be signed.
The decision has been taken to speak at the main consultative meeting of the party general secretaries and the head of Sonia Gandhi's advisory committee at the Congress office.
That too this week, the big leaders of Congress have decided to hold press conferences.
It was also decided that pedestrians would be taken in each state. October 2, Gandhi Jayanti will be celebrated as the 'Agrarian-Labor Saving Day' of the Congress.
Based on this, the Congress party is said to be protesting in every district.
Following the meeting on the instructions of Sonia Gandhi, the organisation's general secretary KC Venugopal told reporters outside the movement that the first press conference would be held in each state by September 24.
