The federal government is currently reporting no data on farmer suicides. This has come as a huge shock.
Farmers continue to commit suicide.
The question was raised at the state level as to why the information related to this has not been included in the National Criminal Archive statistics to date.

The home minister is currently responding. In his response, he said that the state governments and the National Criminal Archive have not yet provided data on farmer suicides.
He said there were no details regarding this. Due to this, the suicides of farmers have not been reported nationally. This information has now caused great consternation across the country.
It is also noteworthy that the Congress party leadership is all set to bring in a large-scale signing scheme for farmers in all the states within a week.
All state spokesmen are to be invited to this meeting.
