Tamil Nadu: Five members of the same family were killed in a fire that broke out in Salem at midnight. This has plunged the region into tragedy. Chief Minister Edappadi Palanichamy has expressed his condolences to the victims.
In the middle of the night in Salem, a house caught fire unexpectedly. Everyone in the family was trapped in the fire.

The house next door informed the police. Firefighters rushed to the scene and extinguished the fire. However, 5 members of the same family were burnt to death in the incident.
Karthik, Pushpa, Maheshwari and children Sarvesh and Mukesh were killed in the incident.

Karthik brother Anpalagan is currently receiving treatment at the Salem Government Hospital with serious injuries.
The first phase of the investigation has revealed that there may have been a fire in the house due to an electrical leak.
