He had said that the position of Tamil Nadu was to control the corona and for that a few things had to be followed.
Minister Jayakumar has said that the Chief Minister will make a decision
Tamil Nadu: The Home Ministry has written a letter to all state secretariats asking them not to impose restrictions on people leaving the state.
In that letter, it was stated that there should be no restrictions on people leaving the state.
Thus the public
Since last March, public transport has been completely shut down to prevent the spread of the coronavirus in Tamil Nadu. Only individuals were allowed to travel within the districts. Outer districts followed the rule of having to get e-pass to travel to places like the suburbs.
And because of the strict rules of obtaining this e-pass, many people do not get it and a lot of fraud cases have been registered. The e-pass relaxations in Tamil Nadu have now been announced by the Chief Minister, amid strong public opposition.
Letter to the State Secretariat
This means that the e-pass procedure has been in place since the last 14th, making it available to all registered users. However, no concessions were made in traffic.
However, it is noteworthy that there is not always a restriction on trucks in Tamil Nadu. In such a scenario, Ajay, who is currently the Union Home Secretary, has written a letter to all the state secretariats.
Violation of guidance
In it, he noted that there should be no impediment to the inter-state and inter-state movement for personal and freight vehicles, personal transport.
He said that the imposition of travel restrictions on the general public would greatly affect economic activities and employment. He also said that violating the guidelines of the Union Home Ministry was wrong and that state governments should not impose restrictions in that regard.
CM decision
Following this, Fisheries Minister Jayakumar explained that Chief Minister Edappadi Palanichamy would take up the matter. He said the chief minister would discuss and decide on inter-state freight and individual travel.
He had said that the position of Tamil Nadu was to control the corona and for that a few things had to be followed.
